BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

Crys Worley (find on facebook by aka: Alabama Worley ), mom to Sasha, an 8 year old boy on the autism spectrum. He was diagnosed at age 22 months old. Regressed at age 9 months old, click HERE to go to his website. Crys works full time in the dental field, goes to school, and hosts the Askate clinics all over for families who have children on the autism spectrum. She has another son, Fallon, who is two years younger than Sasha. Crys has volunteered and organized fundraisers for many other autism related non profits over the last 7 years.

John Pike, father of Gianni, a 7 year old boy on the spectrum and a younger daughter who is neurotypical. John and his wife Tina run the North Carolina chapter of Surfers Healing. John has worked at Eastern Skate Supply for 14 years and has been an advocate for Autism Speaks for many years. 

Peter Karvonen is a dad to twin daughters (neurotypical) and owns a skate shop in Birmingham, AL Faith Skate Supply  He is an advocate for autism and skateboarding. Skateboarding has been important to him his entire life but when meeting and becoming involved with Chrys, autism has been a big part of his world. He helps organize many of our clinics.

Elisa Swan from Southern California works tirelessly helping many Autism organizations with fundraising, event organizing, photography, you name it she can assist with it! Elisa has two children, one on the autism spectrum, and a heart of gold. We are very fortunate to have Elisa on board and a part of our organization! elisa@askate.org
